Courtney Smith
After a stand out career at Texas State University Courtney Smith signed with the B.C. Lions of the CFL for the 2009 season. In his rookie season Smith saw action in 4 games as a reserve LB and contributed on special teams. His play on the field earned Smith the special teams game ball in 2 of 4 games in which he appeared. In only his second season Smith became a starter after he signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL in 2010. Starting 8 games, Smith notched 30 solo tackles and 15 special teams tackles. We are proud to announce that Smith will join the Spokane Shock of the AFL for the 2012 season. Read More here.
